| With the Mechanical Contractors Association and Local 25 involved in a project, labor and management work as a team to give the customer the best possible service. We establish a working relationship with each project’s general contractor, architect, engineers, plant managers, and owners. Studies show that customers DO get the best service with union labor. Productivity is higher, time and material costs are lower, and results are consistently more satisfactory. A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research of Cambridge, Massachusetts, found union construction workers on commercial and retail buildings to be 31–51% more productive than non-union workers.
