Why vote?

"The first duty of democracy...." That's how LBJ defined voting. To vote is not only our duty as American citizens, it is the one sure fire way to make our voices heard. And the last two presidential elections are the best argument against the old, tired line that our vote doesn't matter. Remember the famous quote about the triumph of evil? As it applies here, all it takes is for good men and women to not vote! So VOTE as if your job depended on it!
